Our careful approach
We begin by assessing the condition of your headlights. If it's going to be a full restoration, we may carefully remove the headlight. If we don't remove we will meticulously mask the surrounding panels to protect your vehicle's paintwork. Depending on the severity of the damage, we start with wet sanding, typically beginning with 400-grit wet/dry sandpaper, and then gradually move through 600-grit, 800-grit, 1000-grit, all the way up to 5000-grit, although every headlight is different we might change our process to reach our goal.
Finishing and protection
Once sanding is complete, we apply a compound polish, followed by a buff polish to bring out the clarity. Depending on your preference, we can then clear coat or apply a ceramic coating to seal and protect the headlight, ensuring long-lasting results. This multi-step process ensures a superior finish that outlasts quick buff jobs.
